Award winning SIP panel manufacturer
20 years ago I built an ICF (insulated concrete form work) home in 10 days .
We installed a SIPS roof system made of foam and timber, the roof was installed in 1 day .
At the time I thought I was building an ECO home as it was super insulated, little did I Know that the oil used in the make up of the foam insulation was horrendous for the planet .
Fast forward to today, I now have the choice of installing the same roof idea but it’s made from HEMP. Since lockdown I have become more and more involved in the decarbonisation of our built environment.
I have come across an amazing company that can make huge HEMP roof panels (6m x3m) . They now have a presence in the UK and I am proud to be part of their journey.
Whilst we have a full array of hemp construction products, to keep things simple at the start we are focusing our efforts on bringing HEMP roofs to the UK.
Hemp Roof is part of the Pioneer group, who have been established in the construction world for many years . Our partners have been manufacturing HEMP roofs for over 10 years and have 1st hand experience in the HEMPCRETE construction industry.
We have a showcase set up in Virginia Water and we are happy to show you the roof and the rest of the range. Now an award-winning SIPs manufacturer , our dedicated team of highly experienced, professional and friendly staff are happy to advise you through any stage of your project.

As the UK’s only (SIPS) HEMP ROOF solution, we are looking forward to championing the route to creating homes that are genuinely net zero in embodied carbon. We have found that British builders are set in their ways and still prefer to build with brick & block. We believe that the roof is perhaps the easiest part of the construction process to swap out. Once the builders realise that they can get their building water tight in 24 hours rather than waiting weeks for the roofers to show up and do their stuff we believe that the the HEMP roof will become a game changer in UK construction

As part of our EPD you will notice that We use responsibly-sourced timber, We grow our own hemp and ensure all of our materials can be tracked and traced back to source from sustainable forestry to our fields, that’s our guarantee to you.Hands up !
